Meet Eliza
Owner and Senior Makeup Artist
Eliza launched Glam Theory Studios in June 2019. A serial entrepreneur Eliza splits her time between running the salon, working as a makeup artist, packing orders and running socials for her makeup brush line Glam Theory Cosmetics and educating aspiring artists through the Eliza Madeline Makeup Academy. Eliza has been working as a makeup artist for 8 years. After completing her Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services, she began in the retail sector at Inglot Eastland before heading out on her own and establishing herself as a freelance makeup artist. She was on the Miss Universe Australia makeup team in 2018 and 2019. Although well versed in all areas of special occasion makeup Eliza's favourite clients are formal and debutantes as she loves the excitement of their exciting day!

Maddie is a certified makeup artist who trained under Eliza at the Eliza Madeline Makeup Academy in 2019. Since then she has made a name for herself as a friendly member of our team always willing to go above and beyond for her clients! Maddie loves creating soft glowy looks but is also your go to girl for anything fun and colourful! She is very creative! When Maddie isn’t busy painting faces at the salon she helps run our social channels and emails!

Khaia is a certified makeup artist and started at Glam Theory Studios in February 2021 under the guidance of @elizamadelinemakeup. After countless hours of additional training with Eliza, Khaia has made a name for herself as a friendly and bubbly member of our team that strives to make her clients feel their best! Khaia loves creating a range of makeup looks. Khaia has recently begun offering a range of brow services including lamination, sculpting, tinting and dyeing.

Emily is our fabulous nail tech! Offering a range of services including Gel X and BIAB nails, Emily offers an E- File manicure with every service. With extreme attention to detail and high hygiene standards, one appointment with Emily will make you wonder why you didn’t start seeing her sooner! Emily has recently undergone pedicure training and will be offering this service soon so stay tuned! Emily’s favourite part of being a nail tech is getting to know all her lovely clients and hearing about their lives whilst getting creative with fun nails designs!

Mary also offers a range of brow services including lamination, waxing, tinting and dyeing. Sam has been in the hair industry for 13 years. Since completing her training back in her home country of Canada, she has done numerous colour and cutting classes to keep herself updated in trends. Sams specialty is colour, more specifically “lived in colour”. She loves the feeling of transforming her clients and making them feel beautiful. Recently Sam expanded her team with the addition of her apprentice Alia! Sam and Alia look forward to welcoming you to the salon for your next hair service!

Stacey has been in the hair industry for 14 years. She specialises in dimensional colour and mens cutting. She has recently found a passion for education and runs regular workshops for other hairdressers looking to expand their skills in barbering and Stacey’s signature colour techniques.

Education
The Eliza Madeline Makeup Academy was established in July 2018 when Eliza saw a gap in the market for a makeup education program focussing on current trends and techniques working with the best products and brands in the market.
“We have hit a fork in the road with makeup education. Styles are rapidly evolving and the beauty industry as a whole is growing vastly. However the current courses on offer are not adapting to this and therefore students are falling behind. Most makeup education courses available to aspiring artists and makeup lovers are based on products, techniques and styles that were around 10 even 20 years ago. My goal with the Eliza Madeline Makeup Academy is to take the education industry in a new direction, attending to these ever growing industry changes and creating a curriculum that is constantly changing to adapt to new trends and techniques as they appear, so my students are equipped with the knowledge to tackle any clients wishes in this growing industry”
Now with over 120 graduated students, The Eliza Madeline Makeup Academy is making its mark in the beauty industry helping students gain industry leading knowledge about the makeup industry leading them to pursue their dream careers with some of Australia’s leading makeup brands and outlets as well as starting their own businesses with the help of Eliza’s business and social media modules.
Eliza is a certified trainer and currently holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
